I am sorry to have to inform you that due to the extremely volatile marketplace we have no alternative but to adjust our 2020 list prices again.
I must reiterate, and it really is very important, that these price increases do not cover the burden of increases on raw materials and freight that we have seen over the last 6 months.
To give you some idea of the marketplace we are seeing the following increases:
Chipboard increases of 120%
Steel Increases of 60%
Freight increases of 50%
If these continue to rise, we will have to look again at either our pricing or our discount structures. We will, of course, keep you updated on further changes, but as I am sure you can appreciate and will know from other sources, all industry is trading in very difficult and challenging times with regards to raw materials.
There is an extreme shortage of raw materials and available logistics as well as increased costs that is driving up raw material prices, this is changing almost daily, and because of this, it affects our ability to offer validity on any quoted prices. Therefore, on any quoted jobs or projects, either already quoted or on future quotes, we can only confirm the valid price at the time of order – we would ask all distributors to confirm with us that costs are still valid before entering into an order.
Please also note that we cannot alter price files ready for the change in pricing on the 1st June – it is down to individual companies to alter their pricing to accommodate the new percentage increases – with so many changes we will not be issuing new price files.
Please also note that our pallet and parcel freight couriers are not guaranteeing next day and timed deliveries due to the exceptional amount of freight that is currently being shipped through the system – if timed deliveries are important, please speak to the sales team as to what can be achieved.
From June 1st 2021 please use this new matrix that reflect the total increase on our 2020 catalogue price lists
f you have any questions regarding the above please do not hesitate to contact either myself or the sales team.
